Donald's Nephew Ceramic Figurine by Hagen Renaker (c.1950s) - ID: may22414

A small ceramic figurine from a series titled "The Mini Duck Family," inspired by the Disney Studios' animated characters. Featuring one of Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey, or Louie) in a purple shirt playing baseball, the figurine was manufactured by San Dimas ceramist Hagen Renaker. Hagen Renaker was licensed to produce Disney ceramics for only a short time during the late 1950s, and according to Walt Disney, they produced "the finest three-dimensional reproductions of (the animated) drawings that he ever saw." Measuring approximately 0.25"x0.75" and 1" tall, the figurine is in good condition with light wear from age and crazing.
